This colourful cocktail style wedding was a truly dreamy day! There may have been a few happy tears from the groom as his gorgeous bride walked the aisle that made everyone’s heart melt but there sure were plenty of smiles at this whimsical seaside soiree too!

The rich Autumn colour palette saw an amazing array of florals trail whimsically over our bamboo altar, perfectly framing the pristine beach behind and creating a magical place to exchange vows. The ceremony design also included our white hampton chairs, picnic rugs for the kids, a wooden refreshments stand, cute signage and lawn games. Creating a fun, fresh and relaxed atmosphere.

Then it was party time at the cocktail style reception! Losing the traditional formalities, our bride and groom wanted to create one big, memorable celebration. With the most magical sunset in the background, we filled the venue with lots of inviting lounge areas, low set tables, high bars, bench style seating, plenty of ottomans and soft flickering candle lights. Incredible flowers on masse adorned every flat surface in the room with the most amazing feature floral installation taking centre stage. All these elements came together to create a really gorgeous wedding day – made sweeter by a night of good food and dancing! At the end of the evening, Twig & Grace handpicked and wrapped every flower into bouquets for each guest to take home – a very special touch.

We just love thank you notes! These beautiful words are from the bride herself “A huge thank you to you and your team for doing such an amazing job. Hidden Grove and Bistro C looked just amazing. It was so well done.” – Nicole Smith

It was our absolute pleasure and delight to be a part of creating this simply stunning day for Kristy and Trent, and it will always be remembered in our hearts as something that dreams are made of…

With a fabulous team of suppliers, this amazingly decadent day was brought to life. The striking jacaranda tree was in full bloom, nestled within the grounds of Spicers Clovelly Estate, Mondo Floral Designs created an abundance of bright lush florals that waded amongst the shimmers of gold decor and Studio Impressions captured every intimate moment that would ultimately tell the story of these two lovebirds.

Beautifully romantic and glazed with opulence, Kristy and Trent’s hinterland wedding was a lush soiree that encompassed, amongst many other beautiful aspects, true love.

It was so much fun planning and styling the wedding of these two lovebirds. Both have a cracker of a sense of humour, so I knew from our first meeting that this was going to be one fun day.

Arriving at Hidden Grove by moke, Jillian & her bridesmaid set the tone of this fun seaside soiree. Jillian & Brant chose a neutral colour palette of white, ivory, beige and greenery which flowed through the amazing floral designs created by Mondo Floral Designs. Their ceremony featured a bamboo arch canopy  with floating muslin and crisp white East Hampton chairs, with a wooden entry sign “with my whole heart, for my whole life”.

Back at the reception, a glamorous garden party welcomed guests, where chefs shucked fresh oysters and the French champagne flowed. A crystal chandelier was placed in the pandanus tree over a linen chesterfield lounge, and on the terrace we created a bespoke hand-written backdrop to pay respect to a much loved family member – this being later given to the bride & groom to have mounted as a piece of art at home.

Tables were adorned with long ivory macramé runners and crystal vases of flowers and each place tag was created from kraft card featuring a little cut out heart…so cute!

This wedding was one absolute joy fest! Kristie and Mitchell were childhood friends and sweethearts; they are both hippies at heart and wished for a bohemian inspired celebration set amongst gorgeous lush gardens – and that is exactly what they got!

A simple yet humble ceremony design overlooked the breathtaking valley below. That backdrop was to be the main focus and was complimented by simple bench style seating and buckets of handpicked wildflower. A wine barrel became the registry table and with the guests gathering in closely the ceremony had a beautiful earthy feel and a real intimate vibe.

Two gorgeous tipis under a giant tree greeted guests and set the tone of the event. It was the perfect backdrop for the gypsy inspired, festival style reception that followed. Our styling design included luxurious chesterfield lounges, wine barrels, high bars, stacked pallets with piles of Moroccan ottomans, textural rugs, daybeds and fireplaces. Flowers spilled from the ceiling, draped over coffee tables and cascaded down posts giving the design a wild and free spirited feel!

An amazing dessert bar under a sea of twinkling lights finished the celebrations. It was created from layers of Moroccan rugs, reindeer hides, succulents, copper accents, a wine barrel table and an incredible display of irresistible desserts!

We just love thank you notes! These beautiful words are from the bride herself…

“How do I EVER say thank you – yesterday looked absolutely incredible! And that Pavilion- it was incredible. The teepees and the styling were beyond what I could ever imagine. I am so incredibly grateful” – Kristie Coleborn.

We had the pleasure of styling this effortlessly chic, French Country inspired wedding for the gorgeous Renee and Daniel. An absolutely beautiful, down to earth, loved up couple that created a fun-filled day with lots and lots of little details!

The ceremony design included a wine barrel entry feature, lime-washed Tiffany chairs and a French vintage chandelier hanging from the beautiful Jacaranda tree that was in full bloom! The guests laughed and clapped as Renee shimmied down the aisle to a light hearted song, a lovely way to kick off the relaxed, heartfelt ceremony that had many more giggles and even a high five to come!

Guests enjoyed canapés and drinks amongst a beautiful garden party setting featuring our cigar brown chesterfield lounge, aged timber trunks, French candelabras and a wooden champagne bar!

Soft muslin draping and crystal chandeliers hung overhead as guests enjoyed a degustation style menu. Each table had French grey linen runners, eclectic tea lights and blackboard table numbers with personalised messages. Pops of colour came through in beautiful seasonal blooms along with handpicked Lavender for each place setting from the bride’s father’s garden.

After dinner the bride and groom had a peaceful moment underneath our French vintage chandelier, bedside a restored vintage bicycle with a basket full of blooms complete, with a ‘just married’ sign and a dangling trail of pastel tin cans – super sweet!

We just love thank you notes! These beautiful words are from the bride herself “Words cannot describe how grateful we are to have worked with such lovely, professional and talented stylists. Our beautiful wedding was just that because of your amazing work. We really are so very grateful. All our love” – Renee Brimelow

This was the sort of wedding where every moment is filled with laughter and unconditional love! An adored wedding industry friend of ours got married at one of our very favourite venues and we had the absolute pleasure of being involved. From a styling perspective, Amy was keen to push the boundaries and do something that had not been seen before at Maleny Manor – this got us very excited and what a seriously stunning result!

Amy & Casey envisioned an elegant celebration but with a down to earth country feel – encompassing the ‘city girl meets country boy’ story! We used a mix and match collection of wooden bentwood and hampton chairs with Casey’s family farm’s rusty milk drums for that touch of country. But by teaming these with our crystal chandeliers, dreamy muslin draping and soft pastel floral designs the ceremony felt luxurious and romantic.

Under Maleny Manors iconic big tree and spread across the lawn the garden party flowed! Featuring wine barrels, high bars, cigar brown leather chesterfields, an antipasto bar and speedboats on the dam. All beneath the twinkling light of exposed globes and a feature chandelier, seeing the space enjoyed well into the evening!

We just love thank you notes! These beautiful words are from the bride herself “Words could not describe how amazing everything looked on our wedding day. You styled our Ceremony area, garden party right through to the reception, we were amazed. It was not only the big things that were noticed but also the small things that you did too. We worked so very closely with you right up until the wedding and we enjoyed every minute of it. You are a true professional and it was an honour to work alongside and plan with you. You were so kind and professional the entire way though and you never made us feel like anything was too much hassle. You handled all of our crazy enquires and questions with an open mind and consulted us on what you believed would work best!!! We really appreciated your feedback and professionalism”. – Amy Shallcross

When Liesl first rang me, she was on the hunt for a unique property that would provide a beautiful setting for a day-time ceremony and late lunch reception…she fell in love with The Dairy on first view, and this stunning rural setting put on the best winter weather for an incredible garden party!

Styling-wise, we wanted to maintain the natural beautiful setting of The Dairy, so pieces were specifically chosen to add warmth and comfort, with natural timbers featuring throughout her design.

The ceremony tree was adorned with a French vintage chandelier, with only close family seated on a few rattan benches. We created two long reception tables underneath the shade of the great tree, featuring our long wooden trestle tables and timber Hampton chairs. Each guest had a unique setting created from our colourful array of vintage main and side plates, and using our range of vintage silver cutlery, with each setting tied with a ribbon…simple and pretty!

Spoonfed provided a grazing feast down the centre of each table, and later made very special Baileys and Frangelico espresso coffee shots…which went down a treat as guests took to the verandahs for dessert.

It really was a community effort that made this wedding happen…Liesl and her family created the floral designs, and a lovely friend made the naked wedding cake. Other family members pitched in creating all sorts of amazing sweet and savoury treats for the dessert table.

As sunset came, buses rolled up to take all the guests back to Noosa for more fun and frivolity after dark.

This lovely wedding was captured by Simon Coulsen, who did a fabulous job capturing the essence of this divine property.
